This is who I am

My work as an artist is inspired by people and places. People that live in different, sometimes hard, circumstances. People that reflect the contrast between darkness and the light that overcomes it. Places that carry a story because of the people that live or hide in them, places that reflect the condition of a city, a nation, and ultimately the world.

 

I believe there is so much light in the world, even in the places that others wouldn’t dare to go, and within the people that others wouldn’t dare to talk to. My interest is in dig deeper and discover those places and people. I don't want just to capture their images, but create a connection with them, getting to know them, in order to be able to talk about their stories. Doing this I find the light that is hidden wherever I go. This is what leads me to create images that speak about contrasts between light and darkness, always declaring life, hope, and finding beauty in the ashes.

 

My goal is to evoke emotions that awaken the viewers perspective. Allowing them to stop and search for new ideas about life, and new people. Allowing my images to transform them from the inside out.
